Meet the Team
Katy Cowan
Katy is a former broadcast journalist and PR professional with over 10 years experience in public relations and social media marketing. She has worked for some of the UK’s biggest household names, including Google, United Co-op Travel Group, McArthurGlen Designer Outlets and Morris Homes.
She established Boomerang PR, along with husband Tom, and has since developed the business to specialise in social media marketing, Search Engine Optimisation and digital communications.
Liz Wilson
Liz studied newspaper journalism and spent 14 years at one of the UK’s leading independent PR firms before joining Boomerang PR.
During her career she has handled accounts for many leading household names including Princes foods and Italian food brand Napolina in addition to high street travel giant Co-op Travel, pub company Admiral Taverns and designer outlet operator McArthurGlen. She specialises in community PR, consumer feature writing, website copy and e-newsletters for both internal and external audiences.
Tom Cowan
Tom is a software engineer and web developer. A graduate in Computer Science, he has been building high quality websites and creating bespoke software for over 10 years, working for big name brands such as Tesco.
He is a fantastic asset to the Boomerang team and his extensive technical skills allow us to provide a broad range of digital services in-house, including e-marketing, web design and development, and Search Engine Optimisation.
Marc Remblance
Marc is our front-end web developer and all-round graphic designer. With over 15 years experience, Marc is passionate about brand development and offers support for all your visual communication needs.
Marc also specialises in creating websites that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but which perform above and beyond expectations. He has worked on various projects, developing comprehensive web solutions for large clients such as Yamaha, National Tyres and The Kelias Group.
Tigz Rice
Tigz Rice is our talented designer and illustrator specialising in digital design and illustraton. A self-confessed technology geek, coder, photo-manipulator and re-toucher, she has worked for a range of big name clients, including Lush, Iniva and Diabolous Amor.
This year, Tigz has self-published her own version of Alice in Wonderland, exhibited with British graffiti artist The Artul Dodger as well as Van Gogh. She has also designed an embroidery pattern for a jacket for world-famous fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s A/W 2010 collecton.
